minha instalação do apt-get está falhando devido ao seguinte erro em relação ao libmagic1. Minha versão do Ubuntu é 12.04 LTS. Você pode ajudar se alguém souber disso? Preciso corrigir isso para atualizar alguns pacotes necessários para o meu trabalho.

verifique /etc/magice veja se esse arquivo existe também verifique se /usr/share/file/magica pasta existe
Se /etc/magic não existir, use o seguinte
sudo touch /etc/magic
Se a pasta usr/share/file/magic não existir, use o seguinte
sudo mkdir /usr/share/file/magic
Em seguida, tente novamente. Isso deve resolver o problema ou pelo menos encontrar outra coisa para continuar
