Isso ocorre porque em /etc/hostsvocê encontra a entrada 127.0.1.1 YourLinuxBoxName.
Esta entrada localhost específica (cada endereço em 127/8is localhost) é usada pelo DNSmasq. É seguro ignorar.

Você deve alterar a próxima linha:
127.0.1.1 rany-01 rany-01
em /etc/hosts. Deve ser:
127.0.1.1 ubuntu-rany-01
Ou você pode alterar o conteúdo de /etc/hostname: rany-01em vez de ubuntu-rany-01.
