Eu tenho um Thinkpad T450s com uma docking station USB 3.0 (também Lenovo), rodando 16.04 LTS. A docking station está conectada a alguns periféricos USB, Ethernet e um monitor DisplayLink. A estação se desconecta periodicamente e depois (muito rapidamente, aproximadamente 1 segundo) se reconecta novamente. Esses eventos normalmente acontecem várias vezes por dia, mas já passei alguns dias sem incidentes. Pelo que eu sei, todos os meus drivers relevantes (incluindo DisplayLink) estão atualizados.
Meu dmesg também é inundado com spam (acredito não relacionado), que chega constantemente, independentemente de o dock estar desconectado ou não:

Por causa do spam dmesg, atualmente não tenho um registro de desconexão e reconexão. Incluirei um quando conseguir capturá-lo, mas não acredito que mostre algo incomum além da lista de dispositivos conectados à docking station, desconectando e reconectando novamente.
