Conexão wi-fi instável Ubuntu 18.04

Minha conexão wifi está muito instável. Eu tenho o Ubuntu 18.04 e o adaptador wifi é o ASUS PCE-AC56.

Eu uso o driver proprietário: Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA da fonte que instalei com o gerenciador de driver.

O wifi tem dificuldade para se conectar e a conexão cai com muita frequência. Tenho dual boot com Windows e o wifi funciona perfeitamente com ele.

Você sabe como resolver isso?

Correr:

sudo gedit /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf

E definir:

wifi.powersave = 0

Reinicie o Ubuntu.
