Estou usando o nvidia-driver-450 no Ubuntu 20 com uma configuração de 3 telas, 2 telas horizontais de 27 "e 1 vertical de 24". cada vez que uma sessão começa, as configurações da tela vertical voltam para a horizontal, assim como outras alterações que tentei, como reverter para 16:9 quando estava definido para 16:10.
as alterações são salvas no xorg.conf
alguma ideia?

A solução é simples copiando o arquivomonitores.xmlno diretório~gdm/.config/monitors.xmlusando o comando:
sudo cp ~/.config/monitors.xml ~gdm/.config/monitors.xml
