completamente novo no Ubuntu. Como adiciono o driver sem fio ao meu laptop? Estou executando um Dell XPS M1330. No momento, funciona como se eu não tivesse uma placa Wi-Fi.

Eu tenhoBCM4312placa sem fio também.

O que eu precisava fazer:

  1. Vá para:Sistema->Administrador->Drivers Adicionais (Drivers de Hardware)

  2. Então clique paraDriver sem fio Broadcom STAe habilite-o.

  3. Reiniciar

Para mim é a maneira mais fácil.

Bem, eu tenho wifi Broadcom 4312 e instalei o driver sta usando o terminal

Clique no traço, digite 'terminal' e emita os seguintes comandos:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source

Funcionou muito bem, pela primeira vez em uma nova instalação do 11.04

O driver STA em 11.04 não funciona devido a um problema no kernel. Você terá que instalar o firmware B43xx. Basta instalar o firmware-b43-installer do Software Center ou Synaptic.

Você também pode fazer isso na linha de comando:sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
