A tecla D maiúscula não funciona / produz resultados

Por alguma razão inexplicável, a dchave maiúscula no meu sistema Ubuntu não está mais produzindo saída. Pressionar caps lock e d produz um D. Tentei vários teclados e o problema é o mesmo. Não há nada vinculado a Shift+ dem Sistema > Preferências > Atalhos de teclado. xev produz o seguinte:

Os eventos FocusOut e FocusIn significam que o foco está sendo puxado por outra coisa. Provavelmente você Shift-Datribuiu algum tipo de tecla de atalho do gerenciador de janelas.

Revise as combinações de teclas do gerenciador de janelas e encontre a entrada incorreta, então você deve estar bem.
