Debian Jessie não detectará novos Wacom Intuos (CTL490DB)

Question

Instalei recentemente o Debian Jessie no meu computador e comprei um novo tablet Wacom Intuos. Eu esperava poder simplesmente conectá-lo e usá-lo, como fiz com dispositivos Wacom no Debian no passado, mas não foi o caso.

A ferramenta de configuração do tablet Wacom do GNOME é totalmente incapaz de detectar o tablet, assim como o xsetwacom --list devices. /dev/wacomnão existe.

Eu tentei instalar xf86-input-wacom,de acordo com o wiki do debian, no entanto, o apt relata que o pacote não existe. Além disso, wacom-toolsnão foi encontrado em lugar nenhum, apesar do guia WacomTablets sugerir que pode ajudar a fazer os tablets Wacom funcionarem.

construir o módulo do kernel para wacom do zero - demorou cerca de 10 minutos.
