Ainda existe uma maneira de instalar o wine no amd64?

Tudo que você precisa fazer é instalar a versão correta do wine1.6 para o seu sistema operacional Ubuntu 14.10 de 64 bits. Abra o terminal e digite:

sudo apt install wine1.6

Se você também deseja instalar o winetricks, execute o seguinte comando:

sudo apt install winetricks

wine1.6 ainda pode ser instalado no Ubuntu 20.04, mas no Ubuntu 18.04 e posterior wine-stable é uma versão mais recente que wine1.6 e no Ubuntu 16.04 e posterior wine-development é uma versão ainda mais recente que wine-stable.

É possível adicionar o PPA e instalar via terminal. basta digitar -

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa

Em seguida, atualize as informações do pacote APT executando sudo apt-get update. Agora você pode instalar o Wine digitandosudo apt-get install wine1.7
