Meu computador começou a travar na tela de saudação. Não consigo iniciar uma sessão X local, mas ainda posso selecionar o resgate do GRUB e inicializar em um tty. Além disso, o sshd e o servidor xrdp parecem funcionar normalmente em um computador remoto.

executar sudo apt-get install fglrxe reiniciar parece ter resolvido o problema.
Para começar, não tenho ideia de como isso foi corrompido. Agradecemos qualquer feedback.
Eu estava fazendo login remotamente de um macbook pela minha rede local por meio de sshe xrdp(via cliente MS e via área de trabalho remota do Chrome), perdi a conexão de rede e quando conectei um monitor percebi que a tela estava pendurada na tela de saudação.
