Acabei de escrever meu primeiro Makefile e não consigo entender por que o GNUmake recompila tudo cada vez que eu chamo o make. Aqui está:

Alguma outra dica para um novato torná-lo mais eficiente e elegante?

Você pergunta ao Makefile sobre uma dependência do diretório atual

currentPlot : currentPlot.cc

make está esperando um nome de arquivo currentPlot no diretório atual e você está construindo no bindiretório ( -o bin/$@).
