quando estou tentando construir o Linux no diretório de construção usando make O=<linux_build_directory> ARCH=arm Image, obtendo erros como:

Eu tive o mesmo problema que o seu,
e finalmente corrigi-lo com os pacotes de cabeçalho do plugin gcc instalados:
sudo apt-get install gcc-5-plugin-dev
