Я пытаюсь обновить R на моем Ubuntu 20.04 (новое обновление от 16.04).
Поэтому я удаляю предыдущую версию R:
sudo apt-get purge r-base* r-recommended r-cran-*
sudo apt autoremove
После этого я обновляю свой /etc/apt/sources.list, добавляя нужный репозиторий
deb https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu focal-cran40/
И правильный ключ:
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys E298A3A825C0D65DFD57CBB651716619E084DAB9
Но при обновлении sources.list я получаю сообщение об ошибке:
sudo apt-get update

E: Le dépôt https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu focal-cran40/ Release n'a pas de fichier Release.
На работе я сижу за прокси. Поэтому параметры прокси указаны в параметрах сети в системных параметрах, а также для apt. (файл 80proxy в /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/)
В этой конфигурации доступен только R 3.6:

Подозреваю, что ошибка из-за параметров прокси, но не уверен. Не могли бы вы помочь успешно настроить и установить последнюю версию R?

С этой новой ошибкой я нашел этот предыдущий пост
apt update: Не удалось установить связь: получен неожиданный пакет TLS
Поэтому я пробую удалить «s» в адресе https_proxy и.... РАБОТАЕТ!!!
Кроме того, единственные параметры прокси, которые учитываются в команде apt-get update, находятся в файле /etc/apt/apt.conf.

Acquire::https::proxy "http://myaddress.XXX.fr:myport/";
Acquire::ftp::proxy "ftp://myaddress.XXX.fr:myport/";
Это решение работает также с начальными параметрами прокси.
