Если я начну Thunderbirdс terminal, а затем выберу любое сообщение электронной почты для чтения, я увижу следующую ошибку...

IPDL protocol error: Handler returned error code!

###!!! [Parent][DispatchAsyncMessage] Error: PClientManager::Msg_ForgetFutureClientSource Processing error: message was deserialized, but the handler returned false (indicating failure)

Google не дает никакой реальной информации о том, что такое «ошибка протокола IPDL».

Для устранения неполадок я вошел в отдельную учетную запись Ubuntu, которая Thunderbirdникогда не использовалась. Я начал Thunderbirdс terminalи создал учетную запись электронной почты, используя одну из моих учетных записей Google gmail. Прочитал любое сообщение и получил ту же проблему. Так что это не проблема, связанная с учетной записью.
