Я пытаюсь настроить SSL на старом сервере opensuse:

И настроил виртуальный хост, предоставляющий SSL-сертификаты (скопировав и отредактировав vhost-ssl.template и переименовав его в https.xxxxxxxx.conf), и перезапустил Apache.

При попытке подключения возникает следующая ошибка:

openssl s_client -connect localhost:443
connect: Connection refused
connect:errno=111

Это установленная версия openssl:

OpenSSL 1.0.1p 9 Jul 2015 (Library: OpenSSL 1.0.0c 2 Dec 2010)

Наконец-то разобрался! В Apache listen.conf по умолчанию не было записи для IP-адреса, назначенного машине. Да. Я думал, что "listen 80" покроет все IP-адреса для машины.
