Для проверки установленного ssl я сделал

Похоже, вы не указали заголовочные файлы openssl.
--with-openssl=DIR Include OpenSSL support (requires OpenSSL >= 1.0.1)
Итак, может быть так:
./configure --with-openssl=/path_to_header_files --with-openssl-dir=/opt/csw/lib....etc
