Когда я запускаю команду sudo fc-cache -rv, есть несколько каталогов, в которых строка вывода выглядит примерно так:

/usr/share/fonts/<directory>: skipping, looped directory detected

Что это значит? И как это исправить?

Вы можете спокойно игнорировать вывод. Если вы посмотрите на весь вывод, вы увидите, что каталог, упомянутый в сообщении об ошибке, существует более одного раза. Когда там написано "looped", вы можете воспринимать это как значение "duplicated".
