Права доступа к dir следующие:

Я удалил и пересоздал файл. Selinux не включен. Не знаю, что еще попробовать.

Подтвердите разрешение /var/logи /var/log/lighttpd.

Показанный вами вывод предполагает, что это /var/log/lighttpdможет быть drw-rw-rw-, а может быть, и должно быть drwxr-xr-x?
