With luck, this will get me unwedged. But if you

и много других подобных ошибок. И компилятор не завершается. Приходится его принудительно останавливать.
Проблема может быть связана с captionпредложениями, так как если я их удалю, пример скомпилируется и будет создан правильный документ.
Что я упускаю? Может, это глупый вопрос, но я не могу понять, что происходит, поэтому буду очень признателен за вашу помощь.

Вы забыли завершить подпись концом строки \\. longtabuосновано на коде издлинный стол(видетьруководствостраница 1 второй абзац), так чторуководство по длинной таблицена самом деле является частью документации для longtabu. Необходимость \\в подписях описана на странице 11 этого руководства.
Предложение: Если вы добавите строку
\tabulinesep=3pt
перед таблицей вы получаете более удобный интервал. Попробуйте это:
