Как мне добавить больше пробелов (например, 16pt) между About Writerи последней главой в ToC (как между Part Oneи Part Two)? Спасибо.

ОБНОВЛЕНИЕ: ОбаКарлкёллераиJohannes_B'sответы работали нормально, если я использовал \chapter[About Writer]{About Writer}. Но когда я использовал \include{aboutwriter}(как @barbara-beetonупомянул), они не сработали.

Загрузите пакет etoolboxи выдайте

\preto{\backmatter}{\addtocontents{toc}{\protect\addvspace{16pt}}}

Таким образом, при выдаче пропуска в ToC добавляется пропуск \backmatter.16pt

Пространство в предыдущих частях берется из \part-за того, что здесь проще использовать тот же механизм, а не просто полагаться на пространство, и это, как мне кажется, приводит к более понятному оглавлению.
