Последнее обновление MiKTeX требует запуска дополнительного шага настройки после установки. Теперь на их сайте говорится, что пользователи должны запустить его, miktexsetup finishчтобы фактически завершить установку. Теперь, когда я выполняю эту команду, я получаю следующую ошибку:

Ну, по крайней мере, пока они, наконец, не исправят этот последний релиз, я нашел частичное решение:
Я удалил miktex, скачал .deb (http://ctan.mirrors.hoobly.com/systems/win32/miktex/setup/deb/pool/universe/m/miktex/miktex-2.9.6530-1-linux-x86_64.deb) для предыдущей версии (2.9.6530) и dpkg -iэто. И это работает!
Я собираюсь закомментировать строку, соответствующую miktext в /etc/apt/sources.list.d/miktex.list, чтобы избежать его обновления на некоторое время...
