Время от времени я получаю остановку компиляции пятнадцатистраничной статьи при использовании LuaLaTeX с нелепой диагностикой. LuaLaTeX сообщает, что у него недостаточно памяти. При этом диспетчер задач показывает, что в системе свободно 4 ГБ из 16 ГБ памяти, и XeLaTeX компилирует статью без проблем. Освобождение памяти действительно помогает восстановить компиляции с использованием LuaLaTeX. У меня MikTeX и Windows 10 Professional. Я не проверял, работает ли LuaLaTeX из TeXLive в тех же условиях.
На самом деле, я не знаю, что спросить. Мне кажется, что это какой-то хитрый баг.
