Порядок перечисления дисков не сохраняется между перезагрузками. Поэтому /dev/sdb
и /dev/sdd
могут быть изменены на противоположные при каждой перезагрузке системы. Или переключены с помощью /dev/sda
или /dev/sdc
. Или что-то еще.
Если вы делаете что-то, что зависит от обращения к одному и тому же физическому диску при каждой загрузке системы, лучше всего использовать символические ссылки, /dev/disk/by-id
поскольку Linux гарантирует, что они всегда указывают на одни и те же физические диски, даже если их /dev/sd*
особенности меняются.
Например:
pvcreate /dev/disk/by-id/ata-SEAGATE-ST3160813AS_*whatever # you hid the serial number
