安裝與備用Lubuntu 14.04.1 的安裝程式且該forcepae選項有效。
首先，問題似乎是硬碟分割區錯誤（兩個分割區之間有未分配的空間）。與普通安裝程式不同，備用安裝程式一開始並沒有失敗，因此可以手動要求安裝程式不要掛載現有分割區並使用整個磁碟用於 Lubuntu。
然而，現在又出現了兩個問題：新安裝的系統可能無法關閉（參見Lubuntu：關機和重新啟動都不起作用）且無法辨識 USB 記憶棒（與中相同的問題USB 已辨識但不可用？）。使用安裝 CD 作為 Live CD 時不會出現這兩個問題。
