解決しました。ログインできないユーザーを作成し、それをゲストユーザーにしました。今になって、同じプロパティを持たないユーザーにすれば smbd が正常に起動したかもしれないことに気付きました。

Samba も Impish では動作しません。エラー メッセージが少し異なります。どうやら unmasked に関連しているようsamba-ad-dc.serviceです。このサービスはこれまで常に masked でした。これは、Samba のクライアントまたはファイル サーバーのみのバージョン (ほとんどの人が使用しているもの) と競合していることはほぼ確実だからです。
