Ein Hardwareunternehmen verteilt seine Softwareplattform als Tarball, der unter anderem einen Kernel-Quellcodebaum ohne .git-Verzeichnis enthält. Ich kenne die Version und weiß, was uname -aausgegeben wird.

Gibt es eine praktikable Möglichkeit, das nächstgelegene Upstream-Commit zu finden, also das Commit, das

diff -r linux/ /path/to/tarballed-linux/ | wc -l

oder muss ich den obigen Befehl über einen angemessenen Bereich iterieren?

Wenn sie nicht überschrieben wurden , können Sie und Makefileverwenden VERSION, um ein bestimmtes Tag im Verlauf abzurufen. Wenn dort beispielsweise steht:PATCHLEVELSUBLEVELgit

Sie können ein v4.4.38Tag erhalten:
