Ich habe einen Film auf DVD gekauft und kann ihn nicht mit dvdbackup sichern. lsdvdzeigt dies:

Wenn ich Titel 14 mit sichere dvdbackup -i /dev/sr0 -T 14 -o ~/Videos, erhalte ich nur eine nicht anschaubare 103 MB große VOB-Datei.
Könnte das eine Art Kopierschutz sein oder wo könnte man nach dem Problem suchen? Die DVD selbst ist mit vlckeinem mpvVideoplayer anschaubar.
Ich habe auch versucht, die gesamte DVD zu sichern. Das Ergebnis waren über 23 GB und es werden immer mehr, also habe ich es abgebrochen.

Es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um ein Problem mit dem Kopierschutz. Der Autor diesesArtikelhatte auch Probleme mit dvdbackup, „Ich habe auch dvdbackup, dvd::rip, dvd95 und k9copy ausprobiert. Keiner davon konnte meine problematischen DVDs lesen“
