No puedo hacer que el color o el color del texto funcionen

Soy nuevo en el látex. Estoy usando una plantilla en overleaf.com. Estoy intentando cambiar el color de parte del texto, pero sigue siendo gris. Aquí hay una muestra simplificada del archivo tex:

Los conjuntos de archivos de clase

\definecolor{primary}{HTML}{2b2b2b}

\setmainfont[Color=primary, Path = fonts/lato/]{Lato-Lig}

es decir, el color de fuente se fija en la definición del color primario (hasta que se cambie).

La solución es restablecer la fuente principal usando

\setmainfont[Path = fonts/lato/]{Lato-Lig}

en el archivo del documento principal (realmente no edite la clase, ¡aunque la clase se carga incorrectamente hyperrefen el medio!)
