Estoy ingresando esto como una respuesta diferente ya que se basa en \vsplitel enfoque y no tiene ninguno de sus inconvenientes paracol. Tenga en cuenta que se necesitan dos ejecuciones para calcular la distancia hasta la parte inferior del área de texto.

\marginflowse utiliza en lugar de \marginpar. \marginrepeatsólo se utiliza en \afterpage.

Curiosamente, sin todos los \newpagecorreos electrónicos, esto solo ocupará 3 páginas.

El inconveniente de esta solución es que no se puede simplemente insertar la "nota" en medio de una oración o párrafo.

Esto se utiliza \everyparpara realizar el cambio al principio del párrafo (con un desplazamiento vertical). Se necesitan dos ejecuciones, ya que la información \marginparse almacena en el archivo auxiliar. El límite es sólo uno \marginparpor párrafo.
