Control preciso del pie de página (incluye saltos de línea y posición de cambio)

Question

Estoy preparando un póster y lo uso fancyhdrpara incluir contenido al final de la página. Tengo dos problemas:

• \cfoot{}no está centrado, esto se puede resolver usando \makebox{}, sin embargo, el comando posterior no parece permitir nuevas líneas y esto es necesario ya que de lo contrario el texto es demasiado largo.

• Me gustaría poder mover los pies de página hacia arriba a lo largo del eje vertical (en otras palabras, alejarlos de la parte inferior del documento)

No estoy seguro de si fancyhdres la mejor solución, pero actualmente es la más cercana a lo que quiero.
