Recientemente cambié una publicación en la que estoy trabajando de elsarticleclase a, cas-dcde acuerdo con las recomendaciones de publicación de la revista,

En elsarticleusted podría utilizar algo como lo siguiente (de aquí) para que aparezca una nota en el título:

Sin embargo segúndocumentaciónesto ha cambiado a algo como esto:

He estado jugando con este último por un tiempo sin éxito... el documento se compila/compone y veo los autores y el título, yinclusover las notas para el título y los autores. Sin embargo lo que yonoVer es la estrella o asterisco al lado de los autores/título para indicar a quién pertenece la nota.

El problema se debe a una serie de desafortunados percances:
El
\tnotemarkcomando guarda información en el.auxarchivo para que surta efecto en la siguiente ejecución, pero nono(probablemente debería) definir esa información para que surta efecto en la ejecución actual.els-casrequiere algunas miniaturas, pero no las instala en algún lugar que TeX pueda ver, por lo que la clase de documento genera un error casi de forma predeterminada (arreglar esto debería resolver todo el problema: verhttps://tex.stackexchange.com/a/514678/134574).El error generado por las miniaturas impide que su documento se cree correctamente y aparentemente su IDE/Editor de LaTeX ve que la ejecución de LaTeX falló y elimina el
.auxarchivo, por lo que los datos guardados\tnotemarkdesaparecen debido al problema de las miniaturas...
