Não é possível desinstalar o Scala

Instalei o Scala usando cs setupconforme descrito no site do Scala:https://www.scala-lang.org/download/

Agora não consigo desinstalá-lo por algum motivo. Eu tentei sudo apt-get purge scalae sudo apt-get remove scalasó apareceu "O pacote 'scala' não está instalado, então não foi removido". No entanto, o comando scalaainda está funcionando.

Como posso desinstalar o scala?

Para instalar o Scala, é recomendado usar cs setupo instalador Scala desenvolvido pela Coursier.
