Não é possível fazer com que a cor ou a cor do texto funcionem

Eu sou novo no látex. Estou usando um modelo em overleaf.com. Estou tentando mudar a cor de parte do texto, mas ele permanece cinza. Aqui está uma amostra simplificada do arquivo tex:

Os conjuntos de arquivos de classe

\definecolor{primary}{HTML}{2b2b2b}

\setmainfont[Color=primary, Path = fonts/lato/]{Lato-Lig}

ou seja, a cor da fonte é fixada na definição da cor primária (até que esta seja alterada).

A solução é redefinir a fonte principal usando

\setmainfont[Path = fonts/lato/]{Lato-Lig}

no arquivo do documento principal (na verdade, não edite a classe - embora a classe seja carregada incorretamente hyperrefno meio!)
