Existe uma maneira de anotar arestas no TikZ com "distribuições", como na metade direita desta imagem, ilustrando a diferença entre uma rede neural regular e uma rede neural bayesiana?
Aqui está o que tenho até agora.
\documentclass[tikz]{standalone}
\def\layersep{2.5cm}
\begin{document}
\begin{tikzpicture}[shorten >=1pt,->,draw=black!50, node distance=\layersep]
\tikzstyle{neuron}=[circle,fill=black!25,minimum size=17pt,inner sep=0pt]
\tikzstyle{input neuron}=[neuron, fill=green!40];
\tikzstyle{output neuron}=[neuron, fill=red!40];
\tikzstyle{hidden neuron}=[neuron, fill=blue!40];
% Input layer
\foreach \name / \y in {1,...,2}
\node[input neuron] (I-\name) at (0,0.5-2*\y) {$i\y$};
% Hidden layer
\foreach \name / \y in {1,...,5}
\path[yshift=0.5cm]
node[hidden neuron] (H-\name) at (2.5,-\y cm) {$h\y$};
% Output node
\node[output neuron, right of=H-3] (O) {$o$};
% Connect every node in the input layer with every node in the hidden layer.
\foreach \source in {1,...,2}
\foreach \dest in {1,...,5}
\path (I-\source) edge (H-\dest);
% Connect every node in the hidden layer with the output layer
\foreach \source in {1,...,5}
\path (H-\source) edge (O);
\begin{scope}[xshift=7cm]
\tikzstyle{neuron}=[circle,fill=black!25,minimum size=17pt,inner sep=0pt]
\tikzstyle{input neuron}=[neuron, fill=green!40];
\tikzstyle{output neuron}=[neuron, fill=red!40];
\tikzstyle{hidden neuron}=[neuron, fill=blue!40];

Claro. Você pode simplesmente adicionar um nó com uma imagem de caminho que traça a função. Para sua comodidade, vem com um estilo graph
que pode ser usado como
\path (I-1) -- (H-1) node[graph={-0.3+0.6*exp(-6*\t*\t)}];
Ou seja, tudo que você precisa fazer é especificar a função. Se você usar funções muito semelhantes repetidamente, poderá declare function
facilitar sua vida.

\begin{tikzpicture}[shorten >=1pt,->,draw=black!50, node distance=\layersep,

input neuron/.style={neuron, fill=green!40},
output neuron/.style={neuron, fill=red!40},
hidden neuron/.style={neuron, fill=blue!40},
graph/.style={node contents={},midway,minimum size=1.1cm,
path picture={\draw[double=orange,white,thick,double distance=1pt,shorten

% Input layer

% Connect every node in the input layer with every node in the hidden layer.

Alternativamente, você pode querer usar um arquivo pic
. A sintaxe é muito semelhante, mas às vezes pic
os s são menos prejudiciais (mas também não vêm com todas as âncoras predefinidas). Se você encontrar problemas com o acima, use pic
s.

Depois de pegar o user121799ótima sugestãopara usar plot
dentro de um nó ao longo de cada borda seguido de limpar um pouco o código para mantê-lo seco, foi isso que acabei fazendo.
\documentclass[tikz]{standalone}
\usetikzlibrary{calc}
\def\layersep{2.5cm}

\foreach \y in {1,...,2}

\foreach \y in {1,...,4}
\path node[neuron, fill=blue!40] (h\y-#1) at (\layersep,\y) {$h\y$};
% Output node
\node[neuron, fill=red!40] (o-#1) at (2*\layersep,2.5) {$o$};
% Connect every node in the input layer with every node in the hidden layer.
\foreach \source in {1,...,2}
\foreach \dest in {1,...,4}
