Estou escrevendo um relatório em dois idiomas. Portanto, utilizo o pacote paracolpara sincronizar meu texto em colunas. Eu também uso a \columnseprulepara separar as duas colunas.
Meu problema é que neste relatório preciso incluir alguns gráficos. Portanto, essas imagens não precisam ser repetidas nas duas colunas, mas a legenda deve ser diferente para cada coluna.
Encontrei uma solução complicada: criei um singleColambiente de coluna única que uso na coluna da esquerda e uso um phantomna coluna da direita para ter o mesmo espaçamento. É trabalhoso: o espaçamento ainda não é perfeito e os contadores de figuras não estão corretos... Mas ainda tenho um problema. O separador de regras de coluna está sobrepondo minha figura, apesar de eu alterar o tamanho da regra para 0 neste ambiente.
Então, como uma pergunta mais geral: como posso compartilhar um único gráfico para 2 colunas com legenda própria em um ambiente float com paracol ? Ou como uma pergunta específica (se minha solução for mantida), como remover \columnseprulelocalmente dentro de um ambiente paracol?

Presumo que você queira ter uma legenda em inglês no lado esquerdo e uma legenda em francês no lado direito, ambas com o mesmo número de figura.
Foi definido aqui um novo comando para imitar o comportamento de \caption, permitindo assim ter ambas as legendas sob uma única figura e construir a lista de figuras correspondente.

Paracol suporta a adição de inserções de largura total entre alterações de coluna usando os argumentos opcionais para leftcolumn* e rightcolumn*. No entanto, os carros alegóricos se comportam de maneira estranha ali. Além disso, você não pode aninhar argumentos opcionais (veja] dentro de um argumento opcional).
Isso usa a opção [H] do pacote float. Observe o uso de [{ ... }]para permitir argumentos opcionais dentro. A vantagem desta abordagem é que tudo está em uma figura e não pode ser separado. Não há linha divisória entre as legendas esquerda e direita, embora sempre se possa adicionar uma.
