為什麼\cite命令在內部不起作用\add或\hl命令...？

如果我的句子是這樣的...

  1. \cite{Brown2015} studied so and so things我希望突出顯示引用，所以我會修改\hl{\cite{Brown2015}} studied so and so things.但這不起作用！

  2. \cite{Brown2015} studied so and so things我希望添加另一個引用，\cite{grey2015}以便我進行修改\cite{Brown2015} \add{and \cite{gray2015}} studied so and so things.但這也不起作用！

任何人都可以幫忙嗎！我哪裡錯了？
